I really got into last season of the Key & Peele show on Comedy Central starring comedians Keegan-Michael Key and Jordan Peele. Now they are back this fall with 10 all-new episodes.
This season so far has got off to a slow start. Seems like there wasn’t a lot of thought put into the writing and the topics are just so so. Hopefully they will come at us with some of the more lavish pieces like last season. Those seemed to have a lot more depth and texture. The pieces I’ve seen so far in this second season are just shallow premises with no punch. I got a mild chuckle or two as well as a few cringes.
Well, this is only episode one of the second season. Let’s see what happens in episode two.
